Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia, Copperhead Lodge is a high country resort offering quaint Lodge rooms and fully furnished Cozy Log Cabins for vacationing in the North Georgia Mountains. The resort is also home to numerous special events and festivals each year.
The festival began it’s day with a tribute to veterans. At 11AM, attendees gathered at the memorial square at the lodge to pledge allegiance to the flag and sign the national anthem. All veterans received a toast of Lucy Scars craft beer created by Currahee Brewing Company. The lodge also provided lunch for any veteran with an in-house delicious portion of their famous smoked wings.
From the drive in, to the moment you step into the Grand Lobby with its massive stone fireplace, you will feel welcome. The guest rooms at the Lodge feature original art work, satellite TV, comfortable beds with luxury linens, and spacious bathrooms. For more privacy & mountain amenities like hot tubs & fireplaces, fully furnished log cabins are centrally located on the forty acre resort.
The Beer & Cider Fest included a live performance by Cold Heart Canyon out of East Atlanta Village, presented by Grease Inc. magazine, the creators of the festival. The lodge was amazing with three rolling fires within the property to enjoy on this chilly fall day. From the stone fire place in the heart of the lodge, to the outside deck fireplace, and the bon fire pit, the attendees could always stay warm.
